Cadfan Crafts
All items from Cadfan Crafts are made from timber obtained from sustainable resources, mainly local timber is used obtained from storm damaged and fallen trees and also from managed woodlands.
Occasionally exotic timbers are used when these are available from reputable resources and suppliers.
Cadfan Crafts items are all handmade by myself, Maria Wagland, and I have been woodworking for over 20 years and woodturning for 12 of those years, I started doing pyrography in my teens using a very simple soldering iron with very poor results but approximately 6 years ago I purchased a professional machine and my results improved! (Please Note, pyrography items are normally done on "bought in" sycamore or lime blanks to help keep costs down, however any shape can be made using top quality birch ply or for a more 'natural' look can be done or sawn planks of sycamore or lime.)
Commissions for any woodturning or pyrography are always welcome and are completed on a 'first come first served' basis. In previous years I have supplied my goods to The National Trust, Oddfellows, Talyllyn Railway and many private individuals.
